    Grandmother read Blueberries for Sal
I remember my grandmother reading Blueberries for Sal to me. But, years later when I mentioned how much the book meant to me, she had no recollection of ever reading it!
  • Father an avid reader

I remember my dad reading--usually the newspaper or magazines, never novels.
  • Mother read Ramona the Pest to me

My favorite part was listening about Ramona wanting to give little Davy a kiss on the playground.

I actually had not read Harry Potter until it was assigned for a class in graduate school.
