    Japan started to become a democratic country. However, the civilians started losing their jobs as long process of agreement took in charge. When these situation happens, you can see in history that these countries eventually end up with fascist or communist government.

    The stock markets collasped in German. The country was devastated because it was a country that depended on mostly US for loans. While people felt very depressed, they needed a leader who could lead them to success. At this point, you can see that Hitler would be rising from this point for he knew that people needed a fascist leader.

    Japan invades Manchuria
    Japanese are started to industrialize, therefore, they started to invade Manchuria which was rich in iron and coal. The League of Nations told Japan that they couldn’t expand, however, they couldn't do anything about it for everyone had to agree to make an act of it. By Japan invading Manchuria, America started to take interest in the WW2 as they interfered strongly about Japan not being allowed to invade China.

    During the Holocaust, there were three phases which made the killing of the Jews, Gypsies, Homosexuals, and more possible. The first phase was, Jews have no right to live amoung us as Jews. Jews started to get separated with the Germans with the Nurmberg Laws being made and identity cards were required. Soon, it became worse with concentration camps being made, but people went along because of the secret polices. This was the first act done to separate and kill the Jews.

    After Hitler started rising from the Nazi party, which eventually became the biggest party, he was appointed to become the chancellor by the prisendet. He then banned all other political parties. This was significant because it shows the progress of Hitler rising to power and it was the started of his dictatorship put on act.

    At this date, the president died, which led to Hitler having a chance to become the absolute power. Therefore, he declared himself a Furher breaking the democratic rules. The significant of this is that from this day, he is the absolute ruler of German.

    Nuremberg Race Laws Passed in German
    From this day, Jews were the main subjects of Germans. Jews weren't allowed to have any interactions with Germans which led to massive deaths of Jews. This truely proves fascism because fascism means the building of nationalism.

    The phase 2 said, The Jews have no right to live among us. This was when the Jews started to flee and live in other places and German's hatred towards them got worse. More and 130, 000 Jews fled, but no other countries accepted them. Therefore, they were in a Ghetto. However, it soon became sealed killing people inside and sending them to camps. This act included the first rebellion of Jews and shows that they started to live separately and were hated from all other countries.

    Militarist takes control of Japan and put a figure head in control, who is Emperor Hirohito. Their key goals was foreign expansion, which is taking someone else’s area, such as China.

    German troops occupied the Rhineland. They were lined up France leading to a war between them. This act broke the rules of Treaty of Versailles in many ways, such as building an army and invading a country. This was the first act shown from Germans where they invaded land and showed their growth of power of militarism.
  • Spanish Civil War

    Spanish civil war was between the spanish rebellion, which is Fransisco Frano, and spanish moderates. The german's role in this war was to provide Franco with men and weapons. Hitler decided to help Franco because he didn't want communism to spread from the spanish moderates. By Hitler doing this, Spain became a fascist government.

    The Munich Conference
    In the Munich Conference, the leader of Germany, England, France, and Italy join together to tell Hitler which countries he can take and which countries he can not take anymore. However, at this meeting, Chamberlain appeases Hitler when he took Czechoslovakia. With this reason, Hitler's nation and military power expanded.

    This act was a polish who were Jews ordered to kill Jewish diplomats. This put fire in the Jews. 300 synagogues, or Jewish churches, were burned and thousand of Jews were places under arrest and sent to camps. This act was done during act 2 and shows how much Hitler wanted the religion of Jew to disappear.

    Hitler had invaded Czechoslovakia, which was the "last country" he said that he would invade. By invading this land, Hitler had gained more land, people, and closer to Russia.

    The "Pact of Steel" meant that the country in need would help the other right away. This gave Hitler alliances as well as stronger military power. By getting help from Italy, they were able to conquer France easily for Italy and Germans surrounded France from both sides. This leades to France having no where else to go.

    The Non Aggressive Act was signed between Hitler and Stalin as Hitler started getting closer to Russia by invading Czechoslovakia and Poland. They didn't want to get their land taken away and well as wanted to have alliances with their huge number of population.

    Just like when Hitler invaded Rhineland and Czechoslovakia, he broke the rules of Congress of Vienna and additionally the promise made in Congress of Vienna. Therefore, finally, Chamberlain stopped the appeasement before he got too powerful and started to take action. However, as Hitler invaded Poland, he signed an agreement with Russia to help each other.

    The German forces started to invade France on this day. In the fight with France, Hitler started to use his new tactic, Blitzkrieg. This new strategy was meant to attack the capital city all at once. With a sudden attack, in which France didn't not prepare for, they surrendered by singning the armistice. Germans, with the help of Italy, started to was able to take France easily.

    The Battle of Brtain
    Operation Sea Lion was one of the tactics used to invade Britain. Germans decided to attack the capital city, by using Blitzkreg. This battle was unfortunate for the Britain for they didn't have any alliances with anyone. However, they had some advantages; they were an island, and had a radar. When German got mad for Britain bombing them, they bombed London. This gave Britain great casualties, but a chance to rebuild better armies and won. This gave hope to Europe, that Germans could be stopped.
  • Japanese Bomb Pearl Harbor

    Japanese Bomb Pearl Harbor
    Japan bombed Pearl Harbor, which is an island in Hawaii on December 7, 1941. The bombing damaged more than 19 ships and killed over 2,300 Americans. The US weren't preparing for all the sudden attacks. After this attacked, America clared an official war agaisnt Japan and its allies which put the nation fully into a world war.
  • Battle of the Coral Sea

    Battle of the Coral Sea
    This battle was a move of Allies intercepting one of Japan's strike force heading to Port Moresby in New Guinea. Both sides used a new kind of militarism to attack the ships. Allies suffered more than the Japanese, however they managed to stop Japan's southward advance. Therefore, Japan was unable to grow.

    This battle was between America and Japan where Americans fought with them on their way when they targeted Midway Island. Americans had victory over Japan which brought them to raise more morale for the Allies. On the other hand, it brought the Japans down for they ended up with painful defeat.
  • Battle of Guadalcanal

    Battle of Guadalcanal
    The Americans wanted to stop Japan's air base on the island of Guadalcanal. However, it was the only source to hold Japan strong. Both sides fought hard for 6 months on land and sea which ended in America's victory. Both faced great losses as Japan's loss was starting to be shown.

    Battle of Stalingrad
    Hitler decides to go against Russia because of Asians living there. He bombed Luftwaffe, which was the capital of Russia, and went on nightly bombing raids which set the city ablaze and reduce the rest to rubble. The situation was desperate, but Stalin had told commanders to defend the city to the death for he was a very agressive communist dictator. This battle went on until winter, which gave Russia more advantage and gave them success. To Germans, their allie with the most men ended.

    Phase 3

    The last phase of the Holocaust was, The Jews have no right to live. Just by looking at the phase shows that during this time, all Jews and other minority groups were targeted for extermination. Germans held the Wannssee Conference to come up with an answer to kill the Jews which had the answer of deathcamps. All age groups and sexes were forced to go to these camps and die through gas chambers and other ways. By the end, more than 6 million people died which shows that Jews were hated strongly.

    Battle of El Alamein
    The Germans advanced Egyptian village called El Alamein, west of Alexandria. 1000 guns took the Axis soldiers by surprise. Therefore, the Allies won. This gave the Germans a big defeat and they knew that there were more to come, however Germans weren't as strong because their soldiers were all spreaded.

    The Allies launched Operation torch on November 8. More than 100 000 troops, mostly Americans land in Morocco and Algeria. British starts to go into Italy. This shows how the British and America are starting to spread and win against their battles. Also, the invasions of Italy is soon to be come.

    Invasion of Italy
    Allied forces landed on Sicily and captured it from Italian and German troops. Fighting in Italy continued until Germans fell. Italy lost which gave another loss of German's allies and another success to Britian and America.
  • D-Day

    D-Day
    US troops arrived by boats and parachutes on the beaches of Normandy, southern France. This was extremely successful for the Allied Forces, who sustained little deaths in this battle and removing France from Germany's power. Also, the Germans did not know where the attack was going to be. This gave the chance for the France to be freed and another success for the British which gave them an allie to work with.

    US troops moved to Okinawa. Japan was very desperate for at the end, Japan lost over 100, 000 troops and Americans only lost 12, 000. This shows that Japans are loosing and it's allies are getting weaker as well for they can not help out as much as they could before.
  • Bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki

    Bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki
    On the eve of WW2, US had 2 atomic bomb and threatened Germans to admit their loss. However Germans did not listen and did not surrender. Therefore, US bombed Hiroshima. Even with the massive kills, Japan still did not surrender, which then gave America no choice but to bomb another industrialized country, Nagasaki. This killed more than 210, 000 people in Japan which brought Japan to complete loss.
  • Nuremberg Trials

    Nuremberg Trials
    As Germans surrendered, US, Britian, and more other countries looked at the Holocaust and thought that it was the social responsibility. They tried more than 200 people, and 12 people got death sentences. Soon enought, the nuremberg principle was made which said individuals are responsible for their own actions. This shows the start of other countries looking towards the Holocaust and to help the people involved get their rights and everything they lost back.
