  • Hooke's life

    Robert Hooke experimented and studied many fields in science from physics and astronomy, to chemistry, biology, and geology, to architecture and naval technology. Hooke invented the very first reflecting telescope among other things. He wrote "Micrographia" which detailed his observations of microscopic organisms, he wrote Hookes law which states, "The power (sic.) of any springy body is in the same proportion with the extension."

    He descoverd cells, "Hooke's Law" is still used today. We know that we are made of many tiny cells because of him. The modern medicine we have today is because scientist understand our bodies in a new way and it still helps today in curing diseases.
