King George III introduced the Stanp Act to raise more revenue from British America. He caused much mistrust among the colonists and continued to mistreat them until America was independent.

The tax was imposed due to Britians debt from the Seven Years War, when they tried to generate revenue from the colonists. It was later repealed, but the Declaratory Act followed, which reaffirmed Britians authority to pass injust laws.

Boston Tea Party
The Boston Tea Party was preformed by Massachusetts Patriots, who were protesting the monopoly by the East India Company, which was granted by Parliment.

They were a series of four acts established by the British government. The aim of the legislation was to restore order in Massachusetts and punish the people of Boston for the Tea Party.
