    King Charals Signed the document. The rights granted were that there were no taxes without parlament cosent also one was soldeirs are not to be alowed in private houses.

    The British passed this act because merchants lost money on destroyed goods shiped to colonies. The provisions of these acts was that the Harbor was closed also the British troops had to be housed.
