    The French and Indian War ( 7 Years World) was a war between the French and the British. The Indians were allies to the French. Before the war, the British let the colonist do their own thing called Salutary Neglect. After the war, the British were in debt. The war cost $8 million to fund. The British blamed the war on the colonist and enforce taxtion and enforced strict colonial laws on to the colonist. Also, the British would restrict colonial access to the OHio River Valley.

    Proclaimation Line
    The Proclamation Line was created after the The French and Indian War. The Proclamation Line was the Appalachian Mountain Range, that stretches all the way from Maine to Georgia. The King wanted a natural boundary to stop the colonist from expanding westward and in his luck there was the Appalachian Mountains. The line forbid the colonist from settling in the Ohio River Valley. The British wanted the land to theirselves for the beaver trade.

This act lead to violence from the colonist. The colonist attacked on soldiers and tax collectors, refusing to pay taxes, some British people were tarred and feathered.

    The Battle of Lexington and Concord was where the "shot heard around the world" happen. In other words, the first shots of the Revolutionary war were fired in military combat between the British and the Americans. After the Battle, 273 British meilitary were killed and wounded and only 95 colonist were killed. The impact of the battle was that there was no longer a secretive that there is going to a Revolutionary War and that the Americans can keep up with the British military.
