    The French Indian war started over whether the upper Ohio river valley was part of the British empire or the French empire. This was a world wide war that lasted over nine years. This war determined the vast colonial territory of North America which Britain won.

    This war was issued by the British at the end of the French Indian war. This war made a boundary called the proclamation line which separated the British colonies on the Atlantic coast from American Indian lands west of the Appalachia mountains.

    The sugar act happened to stop the smuggling trade of sugar and molasses from the French and the Dutch. The sugar act is also known as plantation act or revenue act.

    The British passed this law to help pay for British troops stationed in the colonies during the seven years. This raised the taxes dramatically. This stamp was on many papers and playing cards and was a hard to pay currency

    The Boston massacre was a deadly riot. It started as a soldier and a American colonist fighting and quickly escalated to a crazy bloody riot. This also paved the way for the American Revolution.

    This was a act that allowed tea to be shipped directly to colonies so then it wouldn't have to go to England first. This helped tea to get shipped and transported faster.

    The Boston tea party was when some American colonists poured 342 chests of tea into the ocean. They did this because they where mad at the new taxes and. This was the first major act of defiance to British rule over the colonists.

    These where four laws enforced by the British parliament in retaliation of the Boston tea party. They basically did this to show assert dominance.

    After the intolerable acts America tried to become it's own independent country. This was during the revolutionary war and we did become are own independent country and this helped start it.
