  • Mississippi hosts it's first beer festival Top of the Hops in Jackson.

  • Phil Bryant is elected Governor of Mississippi

  • Senate Bill 2878 (ABW) is signed into law

    Beer; increase the amount of alcohol that it may contain from 5% by weight to 8% by weight.

  • Senate Bill 218 is signed into law

    Beer; authorize the making of homemade beer for personal, family, domestic or household uses.

  • Oxford holds its first craft beer festival
