    The Missouri Compromise was were the people drew an imaginary line that spilt the nation in half, North and South because of Slavery. The South wanted slaves while the North didn't, so that meant their were 11 slave states and 11 free states, Missouri wanted to join. Thats what made the Missouri Compromise of 1820.

The line is replaced by Popular Sovereignty and the people will vote for themselves on Slavery.
