    He thought that assumptions needed to be proven through facts, and any assumption without proof should be questioned. He thought that his existence was proven by his thinking. He said "I think, therefore I am" He also thought that each field of science was connected and should be studied together. He made a math equation to describe the way a light reflects from a smooth area.

    He helped prove Copernicus's theory even further using his own homemade telescope to look at the moon and the planets. His work caused controversy and many people thought that the telescope was the work of the devil. He also proved that gravity is the same no matter the weight of the object. He helped form the basis for modern science

    He helped create chemistry. He discovered that temperature and pressure affect the area that gas is in.

    He helped prove that gravity is what keeps our planets in line. He had the idea that objects attract each other. Falling objects were just examples of gravity. His work has helped develop today's items like seat belts and space travel

    He showed that fire is created when two substances are combined rapidly. He also proved that material can't be destroyed or created and created the law of conservation of matter.
