Back before the revolution took action there was this, the boston massacre. When people in a town were murdered by a squad of British, and the squads reason was that they heard someone fire. When colonists revolted against the taxes Britain placed on them and snuck in to the boston harbor and dumped all the tea. -

5500 French soldiers actually lande in Rhode Island to assist the Patriots for some reason I have not found, and they headed for York town whcih a battle was about to commence. -

A treaty was sighned with the peace of paris ending the revolution, for America has a alley that could and would accompany on them in this war for then the british surrendered and went back to britiain.
