Sugar Act
The British put taxes on all sugar and molasses. -

The colonies suffered a constant shortage of currency with which to conduct trade. There were no gold or silver mines and currency could only get it through trade as obtained by Great Britain. -
Stamp Act
this act required colonists to pay for an offial stamp, or seal, when they bought paper items. -
Quarting Act
An act for punishing mutiny and desertion, and for the better payment of the army and their quarters. -

Two British men killed 3 drunk men. They were Crispis Attucks, Josiah Quincy, and Jhon Adams. -
Boston Tea Party
The citizens dressed like Indains at night and got onto a British ship and threw off all the tea. -
Intolerable Act
The government spent a lot of money on troops and equipment in an attempt to subjugate Massachusetts. British merchants had lost huge sums of money on looted, spoiled, and destroyed goods shipped to the colonies. -
The First Continental Congress
All of the colonies except Georgia sent delegagtes to elect laws against Great Britian. -
Lexington and Concord
The British was going to attack the Americans at lexington and then take there gunpowder at Concord but American spies told the Americans. Paul Revere would signal the colonists when they spotted the Red Coats. -
Bunker Hill
The Americans went on Breeds Hill to make a fort to fight agianst the British soldiers. they killed many british soldiers but the Americans lost because they ran out of ammo. -
Battle of Clouds
The Americans lost at Brndywine so they moved out to Philadelphia, Reading, an important supply city. the british herd they were there and went to attack them but the battle was called off due to rain.
