    Treaty of Paris ended the French & Indian War. This treaty basically said that it ended the war and French would not have any land in the New World.

    4. A new Quartering Act requried colonists to house British soldiers.
    5. The Quebec Act gave a large amount of land to the colony of Quebec.
    6. General Thomas Gage became the new governor of Massachusetts.

    The British troops arrived at the town of Lexington, near Concord, where 70 armed minutemen waited for them. The battle of Lexington ended in minutes with only a few volleys fired. The citizens of Concord was prepare and hid the weapons.
