Covid Timeline

  • Spring 2020

    Covid is recognized in the United States as a pandemic. Concordia University Wisconsin students are forced to move out of all eight residence halls and back home for the remainder of the semester.

  • Summer 2020

    Some of Concordia's 5,000 students are unsure of returning after their semesters are cut short. Other students are unsure of living in residence halls amid all the pandemic confusion.

  • Fall 2020

    Some Concordia students return to their residence halls whereas others decide to commute. According to statistics provided by the Director of Campus Safety, Michael Stolte, CUW saw a steep 893 commuter passes given that semester.
  • Spring 2021

    Most Fall sports have their seasons flipped to Spring and run in unison with Spring sports. That is 32 Varsity sports according to the CUW Athletics Website. Resident Assistants are allowed to host events but residents are required to wear a mask.

  • Fall 2021

    Concordia sees an increase in school sanctioned events. With vaccinations up and the Covid count lower at only 10 active cases (12/12), it is now safer for CUW to host more student events.
