    Chaucer published the Canterbury Tales. The Canterbury Tales was a story that was told from 29 pligrim's point of views on their pilgrimage to Canturbury. This was one of the first tales that had very little to do with religion.

    Brunelleschi designed the dome for the Cathedral of Santa Maris del Fiore in Florence, Italy. This contributed a machine that was crane like, but used oxen instead. The bonus was that you didn't have to unharness the team to make the goods go down or up.
