Not so many people believe that it is necessary to go to church all the time, most religious families go occasionally and not so religious families attend mass on Christmas and Easter or when ever there is a school mass.

The bread and wine are symbols of nourishment. In many cultures, bread is the main support of life being the body of Christ and the wine is associated with life and represents blood and ones spiritual life.

The Eucharist is a celebration of praise and thanksgiving to the Father, remembering and celebrating the actions of Jesus Christ, and given power by the Holy Spirit.
This celebration is based on the belief that the Eucharist is a sacrifice making present the life, death and resurrection of Jesus and the real presence of Christ under the appearance of bread and wine. -
