  • Pt's first starts to have symptoms

    Nausea, vomiting, rash, faituge

  • Pt's first PCP visit

    Dx with viral illness
    no labs or tests conducted

  • Pt 2nd pcp visit

    continues with same symptoms
    Blood labs and chest x-ray
    No change in dx

  • Pt first ED visit

    Continued symptoms
    Now with mouth sores and bleeding gums
    Blood labs- show extreme elevated WBC (38) low RBC (22)
    Pt admitted for further testing and evaluation

  • Inpatient testing

    Pt inpatient test consistent with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia (ALL)

  • Pt started on inpatient treatment

    Pt had Medi-port placed
    Started on inpatient treatment course of chemotherapy

  • Discharged home

    Pt discharged home after 2 week inpatient chemotherapy
    Pt to start out patient treatment of 2 infusions per week at the outpatient infusion center.
