    Trunk line railway
    The Trunk Line project was planned by the Norwegian Trunk Railway in the year 1851. The construction of Trunk Line finished in the year 1854 and it is considered to be the oldest public railway line in Norway. For this project they gave higher priority for the quality since the safety of the people is constrain and so that the budget was enhanced for higher quality. They took 3 years to complete this project.

    The Storting building is located in the Oslo city of Norway. Emil Victor Langlet, a Swedish Architect designed the Storting building .The construction was started in 3 rd August of 1860, and the building was finished in 1866. The Parliament began to run from 5 th March 1866. The cost of construction was 957.332kr.
  • Ostfold line

    Ostfold line
    The Ostfold Line is a 170-kilometer railway line which runs from Oslo through the western parts of ostfold in Norway.It was the first railway project in Norway to predominantly build bridges and viaducts with iron. The project was started in 1874 and completed on 1882.The technical specifications were; double tracks,gauge-1,435 mm, electrification-15 kV AC and Operating speed 160 km/h. Quality was the constrain of this project where as time and cost were optimise and trade off respectively.

    Kunstnernes Hus is an art gallery situated in Oslo, Norway. The construction of gallery was started in 1929 and completed in 1930. Its architecture is noted as an important milestone in the transition from the legacy of 19th century Neoclassical architecture to 20th century Functionalism.

    Alta Hydroelectric Power Station
    Alta hydro electrical power plant project was started in the year 1968 by the Norwegian government over the Alta River. The dam is 110 meters high. The hydro power station produces 655 GWh per year. The power plant consists of two generators, a 100 MW and 50 MW respectively. It started its operation in 1987. Quality is the constrain for this project and the cost is optimized. It took years to complete this project.

    Sima is a hydroelectric power plant which is situated in Eidfjord, Norway.     Statfjord Oil Platform
    The statfjord oil platform is located in the north sea of Norway. This oil platform spreads to 475 square meters above the sea. This oil field was founded by Mobil in 1974. Statoil construction was started on 1978 and the construction was ended in 2 nd November of 1982 and started operating from 1 st January of 1987. This oil platform holds the record not only the largest oil producer in the North Sea. The total weight of this oil platform is 310,550 tons
  • Laerdal Tunnel

    Laerdal Tunnel
    Laerdal Tunnel in Norway is the world’s largest road tunnel. Construction was started in the year 1992 and was completed in 2000. The project was a prestigious one for the Norwegian government and hence was built with utmost importance to quality. The 24.5km-long stretch of tunnel stretches between Aurland and Laerdal on the new main highway connecting Oslo and Bergen.

    Oslo Opera House
    The Oslo Opera House is the home of The Norwegian National Opera and Ballet, and the national opera theatre in Norway. The building is situated at central Oslo. The Construction started in 2003 with snohetta group as the architect and was completed in 2007, under a budget of US$760 million.The buliding was unique with old weaving patterns design and the structure contains 1,100 rooms in a total area of 38,500 sq.m and seats 1,364.
  • Hynor Project

    Hynor Project
    The Hynor project demonstrates the use of hydrogen as a fuel for transportation in Norway. Project initiation was in the year 2003 and by the year 2009 it was possible to drive hydrogen fuelled vehicles between Stavanger and Oslo which covered 350 miles. They integrated all public filling stations into hydrogen supporting stations with high focus on safety. Funding was made by public private partnerships.

    Karsto 420 MW Gas Powered Power Plant
    The Karsto 420 MW gas powered power plant project started in the year 2005 and completed in 2007. This is the first commercial onshore gas fired power plant in Norway.The project delivers up to 3.5 TWh a year to the Norwegian power grid. This project paid higher priority for its performance and time is optimized.

  • The Gaint Sun Mirror of Rjukan

    The Gaint Sun Mirror of Rjukan
    In 2005 Martin Anderson an artist and resident of Rjukan who gave the idea to set three giant sun mirrors in the mountain and he used some technologies for inventing it. A computer – driven mirror which consists of Heliostat were placed on the top of the mountain which is 742 meters high, so that it will capture the sun rays and direct it the Rjukan market square. The project was completed in 2006. The cost of the project was €1, 00,000.
  • Hardanger Bridge

    Hardanger Bridge
    Hardanger bridge in Hordaland county, Norway started construction in Aug 2009 and opened for public in August 2013. It is the longest suspension bridge in the world (1380 feet long). And also it is the longest tunnel to tunnel bridge in the world. The construction of the bridge helped to suspend the ferry between Bruravik and Brimnes. The budget of the project was 290 million Euro.
