    This article relates to the articles from 2008 and 2012. It uses data from 3 states to list the people more likely to support same sex marriage. The article from 2008 uses states data to collect public opinion toward same sex marriage as well. The other one from 20l2 at one point lists the variables as to what strongly predicts whether a person will be pro-gay marriage or not. One of the variables is the influence of political parties, which is a factor listed in this article as well.
