  • Plankalkul

    Plankalkul was developed by Konrad Zuse. This program was developed to be one of its first kind, because it was "a formal system of notation for algorithms".

  • FORTRAN (Formula Translation)

    FORTRAN was developed by John Backus and IBM. This language was introduced as an idea to IBM as a more practical language for there "IBM 704 mainframe computer".

  • MATH-MATIC

    MATH-MATIC was developed by Charles Katz and Grace Hopper. Created as an alternative programming language.

  • Lisp

    Lisp was developed by John McCarthy.

  • COBOL (Common Business-Oriented Language)

    COBOL was Developed by CODASYL, ANSI, ISO. Was used as a common business language that wold malfunction less.

  • RPG (Report Program Generator)

    RPG was developed by IBM. This language was used for punch card machines.

  • BASIC (Beginner's All-purpose Symbolic Instruction Code)

    Basic was developed by John G. Kemeny and Thomas E. Kurtz. his language was intended to be used by students that go "Outside the traditional stem fields".

  • LOGO

    LOGO was developed by Wally Feurzeig, Cynthia Solomon, and Seymour Papert. This program was meant to be used for educational program.

    B was developed by Ken Thompson and Dennis Ritchie. This language was created as a simplified version of BCPL that would fit on the minicomputers limited memory.

  • Pascal

    Pascal was developed by Niklaus Wirth. Pascal was created as an language that was efficient in compiler and at run time, making developing programs more structured, and to be a more useful language for teaching.

  • C

    C was Developed by Dennis Ritchie and Bell labs. Was ceated as an improved version of B.

  • ML (Meta Language)

    ML was designed by Robin Milner.

  • SQL (Structured Query Language)

    SQL was developed by by Donald D. Chamberlin and Raymond F. Boyce. This language was used to reseave and change data in IBM's original database system.

  • ADA

    ADA was developed by Jean Ichbiah and S. Tucker Taff. They first developed the programming language as a more simplified language that would be compatible with most computers.

  • C++

    C++ was developed by Bjarne Stroustrup. C++ was created to be a language faster than other languages available for simula and a higher level compared to BCPL

  • Python

    Python was developed by Guido van Rossum. Python was crated as a successor to the programming language ABC.

  • Visual Basic

    Visual Basic was developed by Microsoft. This language was a combination of both BASIC and Ruby, it could load DLL (dynamic link libraries).

  • Delphi

    Delphi was developed by Danny Thorpe.This used for a database connectivity for programmer.

  • PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor)

    PHP was developed by Rasmus Lerdorf, Andi Gutmans, and Zeev Suraski. this language was intended to be used for making simple program applications.

  • Java

    Java was developed by Sun Micro-systems. This was originally meant for interactive TV but it became way to advance

  • JavaScript

    The developers of JavaScript were Netscape Communications Corporation, Mozilla Foundation, Ecma International. This language was used as an "Glue Language" for Netscape Communications.
