    Fortran was devloped by John Backus. The full name was FOrmula Transition. It help shorten the process for programming.

  • MATH-MATIC

    Cretaed by Charles Katz.Improvment of the fortran language.

  • Lisp

    The lisp was created by John McCarthy. It was intended for pratical mathmatical notation for computer programs.

  • COBOL

    it was joined effort between the U.S. government and the private sector. It was to be able to be portible and readible.

  • RPG

    Developed by IBM. It was made to replicate punch card processing.

  • LOGO

    Created by Bolt, Beranek and Newman . The most noted use was for the turtle which was the on screen curosor.

  • B Computer Language

    D. M. Ritchie and K. L. Thompson both made the b computer language to help with non-numric applications.

  • C

    Dennis M. Ritchie developed the program. Its purpose was to be used in writing operating systems.

  • SQL

    Dr. E. F. Codd, Donald D. Chamberlin, and Raymond F. Boyce helped design the program. It was to structure data within a database.

  • PASCAL

    Created by Niklaus Wirth. Defines data types with which to to orginize complex information.

  • BASIC

    John Kemeny and Thomas Kurtz both found the basic computer language. It stands for Beginners All purpose Symbolic Instruction Code. Its purpose was to be an interactivelanguage for mainframes.

  • C++

    Bjarne Stroustrup developed the language. It's purpose was to develop commercial software packages.

  • ADA

    The honey-bullteam discovered the ADA computer language. It's purpose was to help the military.

  • Visual Basic

    Microsoft developed it out of the basic language. It was desigend to be tools for developing programs using an enviroment.

  • Java

    James Gosling created java for a simple machine and far more simple then c++. It was familir to the c program but it was more simple.

  • Python

    Cretaed by Guido van Rossum. Enable to clear small and large programs.

  • PHP

    Created by Rasmus Lerdorf. Used to track visitors to his home page.

  • Delphi

    Borland and his decendent Turbo Pascal both help develop the delphi computer language. It was to hold computer programming tools for windows.

  • Javascript

    Javascript is mostley used in internet browsers. It was designed by Brendan Eich.

  • ML

    Robin Milner helped desiegn the ML language.
