    Takes place from 2 - 8 Weeks. Cell differentiation intensifies, support system for cells form, and organs appear

    2) Neurogenesis- once the neural tube is closed then the generation of new neurons begin

    3) Neural Migration- cells moving outward from their point of origin of their appropriate locations and creating different levels.

  • Fetal Period

    Takes place for 7 months. Fetus becomes active, opening and closing of mouth, moving head. All body parts are completely formed.
