Radio
the radio really big in 19th and 20th century not only used to listening to music when your bored but other things like comunication using morse code and finding lost air planes and ships by using radar. The radio had a massive effect on music it still does to this day i mean just look it's in every car and home just think mtv would never exist with out the radio. -
The blues
the blues were created by the black slaves. The music the blues played was a mix of african and european traditions.The blues came to the north during ww1 to escape disease and racisim. -
Elvis Presley
elvis was born january 8 1935 his first rca single was realeased in 1956 "heartbreaker" which was a number one hit. Elvis conscripted into military in 1958 shortly after that he got in to hollywood and making sound track albums . Elvis died in august 16 1977. -
The Beatles
The Beatles were an english rock band formed in 1960. The beatles are the best saeeling band of all time and held the top spot more then any other musical act. the beatles broke up in 1969. -
woostock music festival
Woodstock music festival 1969 was the biggest festival in the east coast at the time with 500000 people who attended. There was over 32 artists performing attracting people from all around. People estimated to show up was 100000 at most but that number was way off 5 times as much came which caused a uncontrollable crowed with some unfortunate outcomes. -

tupac the greatest rapper to ever grab the mic. Tupac was born june 16, 1971 began his career as a roadie backup dancer. Tupac would rap about violance, hardship and his personal view on things his best selling album was "All Eyez on Me". Tupac died September 13, 1996. -

mtv first launched on august 1st 1981 in new york. Mtv was a only commited to broadcasting music videos and imapcting music all over north america. As the result mtv healped with music promotions and informaton about music events like concerts it also pupularized singers. ipersonally think this is thereason north american singers are most successful in the world. -

The mp3 first introduced in 1993 wasin vented by Karlheinz Brandenburg. the mps had a huge impacton music it was like having your own personal music box in your pocket. the mp3 first became porable in 1998 by SaeHan Information Systems. -
Napster
People could get music for free by downloading it illegally made mp3 sell more and in my theory apple seen the success and made the apple ipod 2 years later so i personaly think people can thank napster for their ipods :) -

justin bieber born march 1, 1994 he is from straford ontario. Justin Bieber is the 3rd most powerfull celeberty in the world at the moment. Justin was first discoverd in 2008 by Scooter Braun though youtube Scooter Braun is now his manager. Justin biebers first single "1 time" was realesed in 2009 since then justin made a bunch of hit songs like "baby" which is the most viewed video on youtube.
