    Homer is chosen by his group because he looks white. He then proceeds to buy a ticket, aboard, and sit in the White's only.

    Homer Plessy started fighting against the railroad in the 1890's because it segragated them from whites. Homer was choosen because he was 1/8 African American and seemed white. He went onto the train cart and refused to move when he revealed hes was 1/8 African American.

    Homer Plessy went to court to settle the equality problem. The first court said it was equal all the way till the last court. Sadly then Homer was arrested.

    After the arrest of Homer, people began to think that seprate was equal. Because of this, people thought against African Americans until Brown V. Board of Educt.
