The Hugh McRoberts became the first ever European that came to LuLu island and built a farm and house on the north-eastern corner of nowadays day sea Island. He called the farm and house Richmond because his family was from Richmond, Australia. Later on, Lulu island is called Richmond. -

Sm brighhouse purchase 697 acress of land on LuLu Island. Gradually LuLU island is divided into large and small tracts of farmland. -
