Ekso Suit- The Ekso Suit was launched in 2012. The suit is made of Aluminum and titanium. This type of technology advancement has helped many patients get up from wheel chairs and has helped them by helping them walk again. The physical therapist sets the step length and the speed so as the patient recovers the Ekso suit adjust to it's progress. -

-Before entering the DPT program, a Bachelor's Degree is required
-After the acheivement of the DPT, 2 year clinical residency/fellowship
-High school students are excepted into the 3-3 program, (3 undergraduate and 3 advance DPT program)
-After completion, certification is through American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS)

-3 main things are examination, diagnosis, amd care plan for patient
-Examination: testing muscle function, stength, joint flexibility, balance, coordination, etc.
-Plan for care which may include excersize, traction, electrotherapy, motor learning and development.
-Main job of a physical therapist is teaching the patient appropriate ways to preform and move to prevent further injury and promote health -
