United Nations Security Council
The UN Security Council authorizes all means of safety against Iraq. In other terms, they officialize the war and say it is okay to set up weapons against Iraq. On August 6th, they also imposed trade embargo on Iraq, to keep from anything being sent out or have anything come. This situation was much like South Africa, and how nobody respected them. -
First scud missiles strike Israel.
Israel has been involved with helping fight against Iraq, and Iraq sends missiles at Israel. -
Iraq withdraws
Hussein orders all troops to leave and retreat back to Iraq.
