On Nov. 15, 1959, Dick Hickock and Perry Smith entered the Clutter house with the intention of robbery but ended up killing all 4 people in the house.

A few days after the murder Dick and Perry go to Kansas City to pass hot checks in order to make money for a trip to Mexico

On Nov 21, 1959, Dick and perry left Kansas City and entered Oklahoma to start their trip towards Mexico

Eventually, the morning of Nov 23, 1959, came and Dick and Perry left the U.S. and entered Mexico

After spending the night in San Luis Potosí they traveled to Mexico City and spent about a week there

The two decided to leave Kansas City and head south, during this trip they went through the cities of Acapulco, Taxco, and Cuernavaca.

Dick and Perry eventually left the coast because money started getting tight so Dick wanted to pass more hot checks in order to get money.

After spending the night Dick and Perry took a 50-hour bus to arrive in Barstow, CA.

Finally, after waling 2 days, Dick and Perry get someone to pick them up. Then they planned to rob and kill the driver. But the driver picked up a third hitchhiker which prohibited the two from killing the driver.

The two stay in Omaha for a night. Then a truck driver drives them into Iowa where they steal a car.

The next day they got new license plates from Florida and also Dick passes hot checks to get money for a trip to Florida.

The two decide to spend their time in Florida for Christmas but eventually go to Vegas to pick up the things they shipped from Mexico to Vegas.

Whilst picking up their items in Vegas the two get arrested by LV Pd for a warrant about the hot checks. But later the KBI show up and arrest them.
