1500's
They wore armour like corsets to give themselves a more breastless look. -
1600's
The lower half of their body were naturally shaped and their corsets were made from whalebone instead of iron. -

Skirts were hooped but womens corsets were also tightened to give them upright posture and to draw their shoulders back -

Greek like silhoulette was in fashion but it didn't last long and the corsets became popular for fashion again and the skirts got bigger. -
1900's
The small waist was still in fashion and the corsets were once again tightened. -
1950's
Skirts that had bright colours became very popular for women in the 1950's and for men their fashion was quiet and conservative -
1960's
the mini skirt was back in fashion but curves and petticoats were no longer in fashion or style. -
1970's
The 1970's fashion culminated some of the most interesting elements of the 60's and polyester was thge material of choice. -
1980's
Women in the 80's used to love wearing mini skirts which the majority of them were made from denim but they were made in other materials as well. -
1990's
In the 1990's a lot of people wore oversized t-shirts, denim jeans with matching jackets, sweatshirts and high tops sneakers. -
2000's
the most popular fashion trend was called "Boho chic" which is a combination of different styles which include hippies, gypsies and artistic clothin of the 60's and 70's. -
2010's
the fashion trend is bright colours, women wearing short shorts, teenage girls will start to wear shorter skirts and dresses and men will begin to look cleaner. -
2014
The current fashion trend at the moment is a mixture of short skirts, long dresses and long pants with t-shirts and also designer clothing is becoming a trend at the moment.
