    The caption reads: "Twin bears guard the grace of Chief Kintahook of the Cape Fox Indians who now reside in Saxman. The granite monuments are in the Indian cemetery on Pennock Island. Kintahook dies in 1912. No one seems to know why there are two bears on the grave when the usual practice was to erect just one monument. Few people know of the existence of the old cemetery."
