Birth of the Paul Feyerabend
Paul Feyerabend was born in 1924 in Vienna his parents were civil servants and seamstresses his family was middle class. He lived in a three-room apartment on the “Wolfanggasse”. He spent his time in the kitchen and bedroom at the age of between three to six years mostly his time and activities were family centered. He started his early education when he was six years old he had no idea about other people and how to communicate with them (Erbacher 9-26). -
World War II
Paul Feyerabend was recruited into the service introduced by the Nazis named “Arbeitsdients”. In January 1945 he came to Poland where he gave lectures at the university and was shot by the Russians at his hand and stomach. From 1942 to 1945 he took and gave services in World War II, achieving the Lieutenant position and steeped in physics. At the end of the war, he was appointed to the education section and became the in-charge of the entertainment (Feyerabend and Popper 54-420). -
1947
In the year 1947, he learnt history and sociology at the University of Vienna According to him the history is concerned with the real world and real life. -
1948
In 1948 August he attends the first meeting of the international summer seminar in the Austrian college society in Alpbach where he met with the Karl Popper philosopher of science. He claims that the popper's idea was not new to him. Feyerabend had attended the symposium at Alpbach. There he accepted the post of scientific secretary, and he was also approached by communists (Feyerabend and Popper 54-420). -
Philosophical Investigations
He wrote the book “Philosophical Investigations” which he studied in detail in London. He argued that Wittgenstein was trying a “reductio ad absurdum” of realist theories presented they had the invalid implication. He worked on the philosophy of quantum with continuous connections with the international academia to boost a career. Feyerabend assured his first academic in Philosophy of Science at the University of Bristol, England with the help of Popper and Erwin (Kindi and Vasso 587-603). -
Against Method
Feyerabend published an article named “Against Method”, he criticizes the several scientific methodologies. His intention was to provide the concept of people about the truth, objectivity, and reality. Quantum theory had played a significant role in that year however the Feyerabend suddenly dropped his concern towards the quantum theory and involved himself in the general philosophy of science (Treiblmaier and Horst 93-101). -
