The Korean War started on June 25th, 1950 and ended on July 27th, 1953. It was a fight against communism fought by North Korean vs. South Korea with help of the United Nations. -

Civil Rights movement was to give African Americans equal rights. This movement was led by Martin Luther King Jr. -

When the Soviet Union launched Sputnick the US then wanted to compete and launch something even better into space. -
Golf of Tonkin
When North Vietman fired at a US boat in the Gulf of Tonki. This started an even bigger conflict.
