The new release 0.2.9 (20 April 2009) is now “Easy to Install”
by a simple mouse click on the openeya-installer_0.2.9 -
It allows to configure the position of a Watermark, and supports
more digital cameras via gpohto2 v4.5. -
This new realease has few bugs fixed to account for empty and used disk space, removed already processed recording sessions,
fixed progress photo in immediate recording, video device was changing while switching among the tabs).
It has new features such as software update information,
a Webtest tab, v4l support for video test and recording (still under testings), and the photo interval can now be changed via Settings->Recording. -

the Alarms system (to program future recordings) was rewritten completely and some bugs were fixed. Set of Alarms can now be re-used on different occasions by simply saving them into a file and then loading them into the openEyA control panel.

This version
enables to activate webcam photo settings (such as Exposure, Focus, digital Zoom and Brightness depending on the webcam being used), and also allows to save the Photo settings configuration chosen for later use.
Log Files for each recording hour (that list actions, errors, info) is saved inside the respective directory with the video, slides, etc.
