A design to approach eastern culture of North Africa, Middle East, SouthEast Asia created by the studies of western europeans. It is known that the studies of eastern culture was influenced by the imperialistic era, thus it implies prejudiced interpretations of their cultural, ethical and religious beliefs, allowing great misunderstandings of their culture. -
Antebellum Architecture
"Antebellum" meaning 'pre-war' is the architectural style that was used 30 or so years before the American Civil War. It was introduced by South Americans during a wave of immigrations from the Europe. -
Dutch Colonial Architecture
It's not a unique style of architecture as it is more of a design for a home for wealthy people at the time. Until today, many houses are made in a similar fashion.
