Supermarket Hood Incident
Jones was kicked out of a supermarket in Bangor, North Whales, for refusing to remove his hood on a religious basis. The owner said he wasn't banned and that Jedi are welcome if they remove their hoods. He said the Jedi in the movies removed their hoods without turning to the dark side, and only the Emperor did not remove his hood. -
Marriage?
A Marriage and Civil Partnership bill was proposed that would allow Jedi to perform marriage ceremonies. This bill received concern from the Free Church of Scotland, but the Jedi defended their rights. -

Student Petition
In April of this year, students in Turkey made a petition for a Jedi temple to be built on the school campus in response to students at a different school getting a mosque built the same way. -
Charitable Organization
In December of this year, the Charity Commission for England and Wales rejected the application to make The Temple of the Jedi Order have charitable organization status. They said the group did not promote moral or ethical improvement.
