1811–12 New Madrid earthquakes
This was a time period where there were very strong earthquakes. This is known as the most powerful earthquake to hit the eastern United States. There are estimates that the earthquakes were felt strongly over roughly 130,000 square kilometers December 16, 1811, December 16, 1811, January 23, 1812, February 7, 1812 were the dates of the four earthquakes that happened from december 16 1811- Feburary 7,1812. 1883 eruption of Krakatoa
This volcano was known to be one of the deadliest in history with over 36,417 deaths and over 2/3 of Karatota destroyed in the process. The Great Fire of 1910
The Great WIldfire of 1910 burned about 3 million acers of land in Montana. This fire killed about 87 most of the people that was killed was firefighters.
