    Departure from Home to Yellowstone

    I leave home and take a bus from Virginia to Yellowstone. The trip will take 40 hours including layovers. I will spend the night in The Wildwood Hotel in Missouri. I then catch a bus to get to Yellowstone National Park to begin my adventure. However, it will be night time so I will have to book a hotel at Old Faithful Snow Lodge stay the night.

  • Visit Old Faithful and Return Back to My Hotel

    I visit Yellowstone's most famous geyser, Old Faithful, and visit a couple more attractions around. I won't have time to explore the full wealth of Yellowstone, however.

  • Departure from Yellowstone to Carlsbad Caverns

    I depart from Yellowstone and vacate my room.The trip will take 20 hours including layovers. I land at Cavern City Air Terminal and lodge at Rodeway Inn(6 Carlsbad Cavern Hwy, Whites City, NM 88268). I will sleep and explore Carlsbad Caverns tomorrow.

  • Exploration of Carlsbad Caverns

    I will explore Carlsbad Caverns and its famous karst topography.

    I'll visit the Bottomless Pit and other caves. After exploring the park, I will return back to Rodeway Inn and sleep.

    Departure from Carlsbad Caverns to Yosemite and Exploration

    I will depart from Carlsbad Caverns and make my way to Yosemite Valley Lodge. The trip will take about 12 hours. I will first explore the Half Dome, an igneous rock formation and then proceed to looking at the other attractions. It will be a quick tour, only about 2 hours.

    Then, I will return to Yosemite Valley Lodge and rest.

  • Departure from Yosemite and Arrival at the Grand Canyon

    I will depart from Yosemite in a bus and arrive at the Grand Canyon The ride should take no more than 6 hours. I will proceed to visiting the areas of the Grand Canyon with the most fossils and observe the environment. I will then finish exploring and lodge at the El Tovar Hotel, located near the Grand Canyon South Rim. Village Loop Drive, Grand Canyon Village, AZ 86023

    Departure from Grand Canyon and Arrival at Glacier Bay Alaska

    I will depart from Grand Canyon National Airport and arrive at Glacier Park International Airport. The ride should take about 100 hours. First I will lodge at Hotel Nevada and Gambling Hall. Then I will take a bus again and lodge at Four Seasons Resort in British Columbia(Canada). After another day of travel, I will lodge at Westmark Inn Dawson at Yukon, Canada. After a long wait, I will travel to Alaska. I will then lodge at Glacier Bay Lodge.

  • Exploration of Glacier Bay Alaska

    I will explore the Margerie Glacier, that is supposedly expanding in mass and size. It is the most famous spot in the park. I will then proceed to look at Glacier Bay's other retreating glaciers and observe them. After exploring, I will return back to Glacier Bay Lodge and take a night's rest.

    Departure from Glacier Bay and Arrival at Home!

    I depart from Glacier Bay. The ride should take about 140 hours. First I will lodge at Westmark Inn Dawson at Yukon, Canada. Then I will take a bus again and lodge at Four Seasons Resort in British Columbia(Canada). After another day of traveling I will lodge at Hotel Nevada and Gambling Hall. I will travel again and lodge at Radisson Hotel Colorado. Another day of travelling, and I lodge at The Wildwood Hotel. Then i will travel back home. My National Parks Road Trip is over.
