This was surprising to me I thought 3D printing had only just come out because I had never heard of it before 2010 ish. This invention has made breakthroughs in construction and medical fields. -
World Wide Web
At the beginning of 1990, we were introduced to the World Wide Web! Without that, we wouldn't be creating these timelines right now. The Web has let us communicate with people around the globe. It also allows us to look up anything at any time of day or night. -
Bluetooth
While the Bluetooth device was initially released in 1999, it was not until 2000 that it started to be manufactured and more corporations became to sell their product. Bluetooth allows our phones to connect to our cars and speakers. It was the start of "casting" and 'screen mirroring". -
First Commercial Jet Pack
In 2010 the New Zealand-based Martin Aircraft announced the first commercially available jet pack became available. The jet pack is capable of 30 minutes of flight time. The jet pack can reach heights of 8,000 feet and is fueled by regular premium gasoline. -
First Amazon package delivered by drone
Through a service called "Prime Air" Amazon delivered its first package via a flying drone on December 7th of 2016.

Having this invention takes away the need for amazon prime vans and reduces the carbon footprint of using a gas-powered van.
