Dec 15, 1816 Abe never forgot his ABCs. He was very smart! Dec 16, 1816 Abe moved to Indiana. Jan 20, 1817 Abe could sleep in a house with 3 walls when there bears & wolves outside. Aug 31, 1818 Abe was very brave because a horse kicked him in the head but he was ok. Oct 5, 1818 Abe helped to build a coffin for his mother even though he was sad his mother died. Sep 9, 1836 Lincoln became a lawyer. Nov 6, 1860 Lincoln was elected the 16th President of the United States. Jan 1, 1863 Lincoln signed the Emancipation Proclamation and freed the slaves. Apr 14, 1865 Lincoln was at the theater and John Wilkes Booth shot him. He died the next day.
