Osiris was the god of death,the afterlife,and the underworld.In this time,(6000B.C-3150B.C) this was the duration of when worship began in the Pre-Dynastic period.

The Festival of Khoiak was a celebration where the people would shape the face of their Earth with seeds.The seeds were placed in "Osiris beds" hoping to be flourished and revived like Osiris was.This event is also called "Ka-Her-Ka".

The Great Mystery Festival was a 5 day celebration/ritual/holiday dedicated to *said*Osiris.It included food,plays,religious servings,story telling,and just flat out fun!This fun packed event was held each spring.
