The Polish army was defeated within weeks of the invasion. The invasion led by Germany started on September 1, 1939​. The invasion was launched from two sides, with the Polish quickly showing their instability in their defeat at the Battle of the Bzura.

Herman Goring assembled 300 bombers escorted by 600 fighters to cross the english channel and unleash terror on the British people. Heavy bombs rained in the streets of London and surrounding cities causing havoc, fear as property and lives were destroyed.

This is as Russia was a very powerful country, alongside them controlling a lot of land, Another factor was that they had many Jews inside the country where one of his goals was to eliminate them. At that time, this attack was the most powerful invasion in world history including 3 million German troops,150 Divisions, 2,500 aircrafts and around 3,000 tanks + 30 Divisions of Finnish and Romanian troops.

    The Battle of Stalingrad was one of the most successful Soviet defence of the Stalingrad (which is now called Volgograd it started in July 17 1942 and ended at February 2 1943. It was mainly a huge major battle that occurred during World War 2 in which Nazi Germany with its allies who fought against the Soviet Union and the winner will officially control the city Stalingrad. The battle last only 142 days and has lead to 2.1 million people dead which is about an eighth of total casualties in WW1.

    The Dora-Mittelbau camp (Camp Dora) was settled in Germany near the southern “Harz Mountains”, which is north of Nordhausen. It had thousands of prisoners-in-labor, including political ones. Camp Dora also had American prisoners who were brave soldiers, this involved the country of the United States of America too. The Dora-Mittelbau camp also included soldiers coming from Britain, which also made the U.K involved to get their citizens to safety.

There was only 8433 casualties from the allied forces, 4696 from the US, 2543 from the UK, 1204 from Canada. There is no known amount of casualties from the Germans but it is estimated to be over 9000.

    The battle for berlin is a battle that started on spring of 1945 ( April 16 1945 ) and it went between the soviet union and nazi Germany.The battle was designed and intended to finish and end nazi Germany. The battle started as 2.5 million men from the Russian army headed from the north of Germany just ahead of Ukraine. The soviet union started preparations 2 years before as it started after the battle of Kursk in 1943. The battle went on until​ it ended with a soviet victory on May 2nd of 1945.
