  • Flight For Roosevelt

    Eleanor Roosevelt flew with "Chief" Anderson at Moton Field, Tuskegee, AL, a grass airstrip located northeast of Tuskegee Institute's campus. The occasion was a visit by Mrs. Eleanor Roosevelt.
  • Leaving TAAF

    99th Fighter Squadron left TAAF enroute to Port of Embarkation, Camp Shanks, N.Y.
  • Combat at Fajouna

    99th Fighter Squadron arrived at Farjouna, Cape Bon, South Tunis to begin combat missions attached to the 33rd Fighter Group.
