    The Magna Carta is one of the most important documents that was written. This document was signed by King John in 1213. This document gave the country access to swift justice, parliamentary assent for taxation, scutage limitations and the protection from illegal imprisonment.

    In the 15th century, A German man Johannes Gutenberg invented the printing press. He is now famous for his works with printing in the 1450's and he is specifically known for inventing typography. If Gutenberg did not invent the printing press Europe would not have been educated.

In his government he was able to raise more money for England since he had stopped paying money to the Roman Catholic Church. Also, in this time period the made the royal Navy larger and more improvements to the armed forces.

    King Henrey the eight started the church since he wanted an annul of the marriage that was between Catherine of Aragon since she could not give him a Male heir. As king he broke the Roman Catholic Church to establish the independents of the Church of England.
