In these chapters Matthew gets introduced to the gator pit. The interigators are then told that their task is to find Abu Musab al Zarqawi. They interigate Abu Ali and Zaydan who are friends.

In these chapters Matthew watches vidoes of tortures and killings taped by the Al Quida. The interigators have to figure out where Abu Masb al Zarquawi is living so they can try to stop some of the killings. -
Chapters 9- 16 pages 85 thru 178
Matthew figures out that Abu Shafiq is Abu Raja's boss. Abu Raja and others met suicide bombers in a farmhouse and Matthew is trying to figure out why. -
Chapters 17- 23 pages 179-222
Matthew interigates Naja who is a 12 year old boy who was in the house that people were blessing suicide bombers in. There were 5 suicide bombers and when the raid team got to the house 4 of the suicide bombers detinated themselves and 1 was shot in the head before he could do anything. -
Chapters 24- Epilouge pages 223-284
The interigators found out where Abu Musab al Zarquawi was becuase the air team followed his white car to a compound and destroyed it. When the air team got to the compound two Iraqis were carrying Zarquawi out on a stretcher. He tries to roll of the stretcher when he sees the soldiers but coughes up blood when he is "escaping" and dies.
