  • Westside Community School District v. Mergens

    A case involving a school district's ability to hold classes on Bible study after school. By an 8-1 decision the Supreme Court decided that the students had the right to begin their Christian Club.
  • Reno vs. ACLU

    Intended to protect minors from unsuitable internet material, the Act criminalized the intentional transmission of "obscene or indecent" messages as well as the transmission of information. ACLU won this.
  • Mitchell v. Helms

    Fed Government distributes aid to state and local Government who then lend materials and equipment to public and private schools with amt based on the enrollment figures.
