    Martin Luther was born on November 10th 1483. He grew up to become a protestant reformer.

    Luther received his liberal arts degree and then his bachelor's degree three years later. Then he moves on to go to law school.

    Luther drops out of law school to become a monk after a freak lightening storm. The storm scared him so bad that he swore to become a monk if he survived it.

    Luther gets his doctrine. He then begins publishing works on religion.

    Martin Luther began to rise up in the Churches ranks. He was soon able to become the overseer at many different churches.

    Luther finds out that another religious leader told followers that buying indulgences can release you from your sins. Luther does not agree with this one bit.

    Luther writes the ninety-five thesis explain why these indulgences are wrong. He then posts them on the door of the castle church's for all to see. This is considered the begin of the protestant reformation.

    Luther becomes convinced that salvation is a divine grace. Luther also says that the pope isn't the only one who can explain the Bible.

    The pope publicly warns Luther about pushing his reformation any farther. Luther sets it on fire publicly.

    Luther publishes his three most famous writings. The are considered building blocks for the reformation.

    The pope excommunicates Luther from the church. The pope claims that Luther is crazy and should be killed and burned.

    Luther is pulled into an official meeting where they ask him to state that his books are not true. But Luther refuses saying that unless they find something in the Bible proving them untrue he will not agree to them.

    Luther began to set off planned protests. He did not think that the reformation should be hurried though so each of his protests were carefully planned.
