Luther screwed up his 1st mass. His father is disappointed. Luther gets angry with himself and thinks that God will punish him soon. But he is introduced to a loving God through Jesus Christ.Then he is sent to pass papers to Rome. At Rome he saw the corruption in the church: a Pope with a prostitute, you had to pay to get loved ones into heaven, people selling charms to release people of their sins. Luther also begins studying theology at the University of Erfurt.

Luther receives a doctorate in Theology. He begins to work as a Professor of Theology at the University of Wittenberg.

Luther becomes the priest of Wittenberg’s City Church.

Luther posts 95 Theses on the castle church door. He is angry with the church because of the indulgences. Luther also believes that the Pope is blind to what is happening in his church, that is why he writes the Theses to tell the Pope about the corruption of the priests of the church.

Inquisition into Martin Luther begins. He is asked to recant everything he wrote, but Luther does not because he believes in what he writes.

Emperor Maximillian dies. Rome is distracted from Luther.

Luther is excommunicated in Rome.

Luther arrives at Diet of Worms for a trial. He is told to recant, but he still does not. His followers support him at the trail.

Luther leaves Worms.

Luther is kidnapped/rescued by his friend, Frederick. Frederick takes him to Wartburg Castle.
He translates the bible into German for everyone to read, but because people think that he has been kidnapped, they start believing that he is dead. -
Luther comes out of hiding and returns to Wittenberg. He returns because his Reformation has gotten out of control. Luther has started something that even he cannot control.

The Peasants’ War. It is believed that Luther started this. The peasants' are ransacking villages and breaking into and looting churchs. They are also killing other villagers who get in their way.

Luther writes Bondage of the Will and Against the Murders, Thieving Hordes of Peasants.Luther also arries Katharina von Bora, a runaway nun.
