Soldiers in World War I had many issues. They lived in trenches while they were in war. For being a long time in the trenches and having the same shoes and socks for a long time, they could get trench foot. Sometimes they woke up surrounded by rats, and they had to eat spoiled food. In Pearl Harbor, the Japanese attacked the American naval baseby surprise. Many people and organizations were involved, like Harold Stark, Intelligence Agencies, Husband Kimnel, Walker Short, US Navy and Kermit Tyler. Within 2 hours, 5 battleships had been sunk and 16 were damaged. 188 aircrafts destroyed. This attack killed over 2400 Americans with other 1,178 injured.

The atomic bombs were headed to Hiroshima and Nagasaki in Japan. They were sent by the US army. These two nuclear bombs were named "Fat Man" and "Little Boy". 90,000 - 166,000 people were killed in Hiroshima and 60,000 - 80,000 in Nagasaki.

In the Holocaust, the Jews were separated from the other people and thrown in a Ghetto. In the ghettos, people died of starvation because if the person was not fit to work, they didn't get food tickets. Over 75,000 people died of disease and starvation. This limited piece of land was commanded by the Nazis. They killed many Jews that stepped in their way and afterwards, burned their bodies. Jews were also killed in ovens, the Nazis sent 1,000 Jews or more until they finished with all of them.
