    The first RaLa test with a radioactive source is performed. A RaLa test is used to study the converging shock waves in the center of a simulated nuclear device. RaLa stands for Radioactive Lanthanum.

  • 509 Composite Group

    509th Composite Group of USAAF constituted to deliver the bombs.

    First successful test of the explosive lens used in Fat Man.
