The Industrial Revolution was first developed in Britain in the 18th century. It was helpful because it transformed economies that had strictly been based on agriculture and handicrafts into large scale industries, mechanized manufacturing, and the factory system. this made it easier to organise work in a more productive and efficient manner as well as rapidly increasing the population growth rate.
